This year the peach crop has been incredible. Neighbors scuttle around to porches dropping off bushels of fruit even after having canned pantries full of peach jam and preserves. The smell of cooking peaches is wafting out of my kitchen right now and this is what we will be having for dessert tonight. Peach Cobbler, yum.
Sure wish I had known you had that many peaches hanging around! Christine and I would have drove over and scooped some up! She loves to can - I only enjoy her skills. LOL
